Stereo preamplifier

The C-300 is a dual-mono Class A preamplifier with a modern design that embodies the contemporary style of Luxman in the 1980s.

The MC amplifier is designed with direct-coupled parallel FET input in the first stage and a Class A push-pull output, featuring a dedicated constant voltage circuit to minimize noise and source impedance.

The power supply section is completely separate for the left and right channels, with rectification and constant voltage circuits forming a twin monaural power supply, reducing channel interference. The transformers and capacitors are large to lower impedance and ensure stable power delivery.

High-quality film capacitors are used throughout the stages, and oxygen-free copper shielded cables are employed to optimize sound quality. The tone control includes a continuous shift function for precise balance with simple operations. Additionally, a linear phase sensor helps unify the polarity of connected devices.

The passive Twin T subsonic circuit further enhances sound quality. The structure is designed to eliminate magnetic distortion, with gold-plated terminals and a natural wood cabinet lined with aluminum for effective shielding.
