One of the most beloved singers of our times is finally back with a new album with a fascinatingly modern style. Well yes, Jennifer Warnes has returned to the delight of her fans with a brand new BMG album entitled Another Time, Another Place, which features her very trusted producer (as well as great friend and collaborator) Roscoe Beck, for a long time Leonard Cohen's former musical director and bassist. To clarify, this is the same fantastic duo that created Famous Blue Raincoat in 1987, one of Jennifer Warnes' most beautiful and emblematic albums. As well as top-notch production and ???execution??? to which obviously we add an absolutely impeccable singing line??? Another Time, Another Place features the crème de la crème of authors in circulation today, including Eddie Vedder (???Just Breathe???), Mark Knopfler (???Who Worry???), John Legend, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks and others. Jennifer Warnes is accompanied on this album by an excellent band made up of several of her dear friends, such as Dean Parks (Steely Dan, Bob Dylan), the king of the pedal steel guitar Greg Liesz (k.d. lang and Eric Clapton) and the drummer Vinnie Colaiuta ( Frank Zappa and Sting). Jennifer Warnes has always been appreciated for her records, all conceived with an open heart and completely sincere, without any hesitation in revealing her emotions and her feelings.
