The new 90° x 90° Tractrix® Horn features an updated design with increased external dimensions, delivering more power and emotion to music and movies. The larger size enhances directivity control over a broader frequency range, resulting in a more precise and immersive soundstage. The 1" Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) aluminum tweeter, a hallmark of Klipsch speakers, minimizes distortion and ensures detailed performance. Aluminum, an extremely light and rigid material, is used in the tweeter assembly to improve efficiency. The 3.5" Thermoformed Crystalline Polymer (TCP) woofers with copper finish, utilizing technology derived from Klipsch's Reference Premiere series, offer a smoother response and improved accuracy and transparency thanks to the steeper cone angling. The tapered array crossover technology improves dispersion, enhancing midrange definition and allowing for clear dialogue reproduction in movies, music, and games. The speakers are housed in a slim, high-quality MDF cabinet, reinforced with ¾" MDF to reduce vibrations and enhance sonic accuracy. The new Reference series speakers are designed to fit seamlessly with flat-screen TVs, featuring minimal footprint, hidden fasteners, and low-profile magnetic grilles. The entire Reference series has been redefined to deliver a truly immersive listening experience.
