The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova CII is far more than just a center channel speaker — it is the embodiment of uncompromising craftsmanship and a design philosophy that blends tradition with innovation. Engineered to integrate seamlessly with the other models in the Olympica Nova series, the CII is designed to deliver consistent, detailed, and natural sound, whether in cinematic dialogue or high-fidelity music reproduction.

The cabinet construction reflects the finest Italian woodworking tradition, with curved side panels made from real wood multilayer, using the same construction techniques found in high-end nautical design. Pressure die-cast aluminum top and bottom plates add structural rigidity and vibration control, while the black leather front panel with exposed stitching brings a distinctive touch of artisanal elegance.

The Olympica Nova CII features a 3-way configuration, with components entirely developed in-house by Sonus Faber:

• Tweeter: 28 mm H28 XTR3 with a neodymium “cup design” motor system and exclusive DAD™ (Damped Apex Dome) technology, which improves high-frequency response by eliminating dome distortion.

• Midrange: Two 150 mm drivers made from unpressed natural fibers — including cellulose, kapok, and kenaf — air-dried to ensure an extremely transparent and realistic sound with no artificial resonances.

• Woofers: Two 180 mm drivers featuring a cellulose and synthetic foam sandwich cone, delivering deep, fast, and controlled bass response.

The Stealth Ultraflex™ rear port — an evolution of para-aperiodic loading — allows smooth and controlled airflow management within the cabinet. Its finned design, extruded from aluminum, reduces turbulence and distortion while extending low-frequency response. The mirrored port layout also enables flexible speaker placement to optimize acoustic performance in any room.

The 3-way crossover employs Sonus Faber’s sophisticated Paracross™ topology, designed to minimize high-frequency interference and improve transient response. All components — including air-core inductors and wire-wound resistors — are laid out to reduce magnetic interaction. Capacitors are exclusively supplied by Clarity Cap, a leader in bespoke audiophile components.

With a wide, natural, and coherent soundstage, the Sonus Faber Olympica Nova CII is crafted to complete a high-end multichannel setup, delivering clear dialogue and perfect timbral continuity with main speakers.
