The KEF R600c is the larger of the two speakers dedicated to the central channel, but its design is carefully crafted to ensure a slim profile that makes it easy to place in racks and under screens. Thanks to the D'Appolito driver configuration, the R600c can also be used in LCR positions. This speaker immerses the listener in an authentic surround sound experience, placing them at the heart of the action with a level of clarity, precision, and sophistication that makes the music or movie feel as though you are truly at the concert or in the middle of the action.

The mid-range response of the R600c is incredibly fast and clean, while the high frequencies are surprisingly pure. Every element of the system works as a single, perfectly integrated voice, delivering sweet and accurate sounds with unprecedented clarity. The KEF Uni-Q driver array is a true masterpiece. Unlike conventional speakers, the midrange cones are rigid magnesium/aluminum structures that reduce distortion issues. The new Z-flex surround of the midrange smooths the transition between the tweeter and the front baffle, avoiding distortion in the high frequencies. Large voice coils improve power handling and dynamics, reducing distortion and providing exceptional vocal clarity. The venting of the tweeters reduces pressure behind the dome, increasing midrange bandwidth and lowering distortion. The upper registers are articulated with flawless precision, while KEF's orange waveguide disperses high frequencies evenly over a wider angle, flooding the room with a sophisticated and naturally pleasant sound field.

The bass of the R600c is dynamic, uncompressed, and distortion-free, enveloping the listener with purity that strikes deep emotional chords. Every deep note is perceptible with clarity.

Ventilated magnetic groups and large aluminum voice coils power the hybrid cones, which are lightweight yet rigid and robust. The bass output is fast, clean, and precise. Satin anodized elements add elegance to the unit, while the diameter of the trim ring accentuates a visual refinement that contrasts with the extraordinary power of the speaker.

Designed from scratch, the R Series represents a leap forward in the audio world, creating a new dimension in sound authenticity. The geometry and reinforcement of the case optimize vibrational behavior, reducing secondary radiation and producing a cleaner sound. Damping panels further reduce resonance and cabinet coloration. The front diaphragms are free of visible screws, and the grilles are magnetically attached.
