Equipped with the TP 28 tonearm, the TD 280 offers an effective mass of 12.5 g, compatible with a wide range of moving magnet (MM) cartridges. The turntable is powered by a low-voltage, 24-pole synchronous motor, ensuring stable and precise rotation. The selectable speeds are 33 and 45 RPM, with the option to adjust speed via a trimmer for greater accuracy.

The TD 280 is designed to provide an uninterrupted listening experience, with an automatic tonearm lift at the end of the record, preventing prolonged contact between the stylus and the vinyl, thus preserving sound quality.
