The Black Cube SE is an advanced version of the classic Black Cube, equipped with an external PWX power supply that provides greater power and signal stability. This results in a more precise reproduction, with controlled bass, balanced mids, and detailed high frequencies.

The preamplifier is built with high-quality components, including input stages used in professional studio equipment. With a maximum gain of 66 dB, it is compatible with a wide range of cartridges, from high-output MM to MC.

For enhanced customization, each channel features a slot for impedance adjustment without soldering, along with a hardwired position for immediate impedance tuning.

The circuit includes a high-precision passive RIAA filter network, placed between two linear gain stages. Selected polypropylene capacitors ensure accurate signal management while preserving dynamics and detail. Additional modules reduce interference, background noise, and unwanted voltage fluctuations, ensuring stable operation.

The PWX external power supply is designed to minimize signal loss, allowing the preamplifier to be positioned close to the turntable. The connection between the audio unit and power supply is made via gold-plated Neutrik XLR connectors and a shielded cable for secure signal transmission.

Both unit chassis are made of non-magnetic aluminum, with dampened top covers to reduce unwanted vibrations.
