Reference Premiere II Series

A new, larger 90° x 90° Tractrix® hybrid silicone composite horn enables extremely efficient high-frequency wave transfer into the listening area for a clearer, crisper sound. The phase plug and the compression-molded silicone surface ensure a smooth frequency response.

The 1" Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter minimizes distortion, improving performance with more detail. LTS tweeters are a distinctive feature of the Reference Premiere series, making them a core component of some of the world’s best speakers. The vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that generate unwanted harmonics, enhancing detail and clarity in high-frequency reproduction.

The 5.25" Cerametallic™ woofers have been updated to ensure flawless sound reproduction, with minimal distortion and maximum efficiency. The redesigned woofers deliver the power, detail, and emotion expected from a Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker. The Tractrix port design, with Tractrix geometry, enables the most efficient and fastest air transfer from the cabinet, reducing port noise for more powerful and cleaner low frequencies.

The separate bi-wiring/bi-amping input terminals separate high- and low-frequency currents into different cables, reducing distortion for a clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for further performance optimization with separate amplifiers for the high- and low-frequency drivers.

Upgrading to immersive Dolby Atmos sound with the RP-500SA speakers is incredibly easy thanks to the hidden connections on the back of the speakers. These refined connections reduce cable visibility while keeping them in place for better wire management.
