Turntable

The EMT 938 was the last turntable produced by EMT, designed to offer the brand's distinctive quality at a more accessible price. Considered the "little brother" of the EMT 948, the 938 was conceived to meet the needs of a broader audience, without compromising the performance and reliability that the brand is known for. The quartz-lock direct drive ensures fast start-ups and stable platter rotation, with a 33 cm die-cast aluminum platter designed to minimize vibrations transmitted through the support.

The 938's tonearm is a dynamic balance model, with an effective length of 230 mm and an overhang of 15 mm, capable of supporting a tracking force range from 0 to 5 grams. Regarding the electronics, the EMT 938 features an integrated equalizer amplifier that supports RIAA, DIN, NAB, and IEC 75/318/3180 µs curves, with input sensitivity for MM from 2 to 10 mV/47kΩ and for MC from 0.3 to 1.4 mV, with a 17 dB transformer for further sound customization.
