The Denon DP-400 is a turntable designed to deliver faithful and precise playback, thanks to its belt-drive system with an automatic speed sensor that ensures consistent platter rotation and eliminates unwanted fluctuations. The curved S-shaped tonearm optimizes tracking angles across the record's surface, reducing harmonic distortion and enhancing sound quality. Additionally, the auto-lift system raises the tonearm at the end of playback, protecting both the record and the cartridge.

The DP-400’s robust construction, featuring a heavy base and high-quality materials, provides excellent resistance to vibrations, resulting in a more detailed and resonance-free sound. It supports three playback speeds (33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of vinyl records, including vintage 78 RPM pressings. The built-in phono equalizer, with an on/off switch, allows direct connection to any amplifier, even those without a dedicated phono input.

The included high-quality MM cartridge delivers detailed playback right out of the box, with the option to upgrade to an MC cartridge for more advanced listening preferences. The uniquely designed removable dust cover minimizes unwanted vibrations and doubles as a stand for displaying vinyl album covers.

With a compact width of 41 cm, the DP-400 seamlessly integrates into any Hi-Fi system and features a sleek, modern design that aligns with the Denon Design series.
