The Roksan K3 is an imposing device, built into a full-size chassis, as large as a premium integrated amplifier, and with a solidity that few competitors can match.
In terms of functionality, the K3 offers a good number of inputs, including two USB ports (front and rear) and a wireless option. It comes with a USB transmitter that, when paired with Roksan's K-Link system, allows for CD-quality wireless music transmission.
Regarding specifications, the K3 supports 24-bit/192kHz compatibility and supports both single and double-speed DSD.
When it comes to sound quality, the K3 delivers a wide and powerful presentation, with an authoritative sound and good control of the low frequencies. The soundstage is broad and stable, and the level of detail is excellent, with great separation between instruments. The sound remains consistent even when the music becomes complex. Tonally, it is well balanced and captures the timbre of instruments accurately.
