The transport mechanism, a JPL-2800 designed and made in Austria by Stream Unlimited, is among the best in the world, ensuring stability and precision, eliminating fluctuations and loss of definition during playback. The integrated Zero-Clock™ technology effectively reduces jitter, further enhancing sound quality.

Additionally, the CD-1000 MkII features a digital volume control system that allows it to directly drive power amplifiers and active speakers, making it a versatile and powerful device. The DELUXE model features the improved BurrBrown PCM1792A.
