DS AUDIO ION 001

The ION-001 is a high-power ionizer designed to neutralize and remove static charges from vinyl records. Vinyl records accumulate static electricity on their surface due to friction, primarily caused by stylus drag during playback or simply removing the records from their jackets. The ION-001 emits both positive and negative ions in a controlled manner through two separate outlets, effectively eliminating static electricity and enhancing listening quality.

Its innovative "fanless" design ensures silent operation, making it ideal for continuous use during record playback. Additionally, the ION-001 is capable of removing static charge from Compact Discs as well.

Equipped with 4 ionizers (two for positive ions and two for negative ions), the ION-001 is powered by a specialized power supply controller that limits excess ozone production, preventing unwanted oxidation. This makes it a powerful yet safe device with minimal ozone emissions.

The architectural tower design allows for quick installation by positioning the ION-001 next to the turntable, facilitating easy vinyl record changes. This design is compatible with a wide range of turntables, with platter heights up to 18 cm. For turntables with higher platters, it is recommended to use a base or riser to position the ION-001 correctly.
