With the growing popularity of integrated whole-house audio systems, Klipsch designed the CDT-3800-C II to meet the demand for high-performance in-ceiling speakers capable of overcoming the inherent limitations of fixed locations.

Thanks to a patented gimbal mechanism known as Controlled Dispersion Technology (CDT), the CDT-3800-C II allows both high and low frequencies to be directed toward the listening area. The innovative 100-degree symmetrical Tractrix® Horn ensures more precise sound direction compared to a traditional dome tweeter, reducing unwanted sound dispersion that can blur audio details. The 8-inch IMG woofer offers exceptional positioning flexibility: it can rotate 360 degrees and tilt up to 15 degrees in any direction. This combination, along with the swiveling tweeter, provides total control over where the sound is directed.

The tweeter features a Linear Travel Suspension, which enhances high-frequency detail and smoothness. Additional professional-grade components, such as a premium crossover network and switches for adjusting treble and bass, elevate the CDT-3800-C II to a new standard of excellence in architectural audio.
