The SL-6 are a pair of floor-standing speakers that represent excellence in sound and construction. Equipped with high-quality drivers, these speakers use rubber suspensions, eliminating the risk of deterioration over time that can occur with foam-suspension drivers.

In terms of sound, the SL-6 does not disappoint: they offer a wide, dynamic soundstage and rich, deep bass. To achieve maximum performance, a powerful amplifier is required. These speakers are designed with a three-way configuration, consisting of two 6-inch woofers, a 6-inch woofer/midrange, and three 1-inch aluminum dome tweeters. The slim-line, THX-approved design gives the speakers an elegant and refined appearance. They feature magnetic shielding and terminals for bi-amping and bi-wiring, offering great versatility for audiophiles.

The crossover frequencies are set at 200Hz and 1800Hz, with an impedance of 4 ohms and a nominal power rating of 200W. The MCINTOSH SL-6 does not have overload protection, allowing them to be used with powerful amplifiers.
