A new, larger 90° x 90° hybrid Tractrix® horn made of composite silicone provides exceptionally efficient high-frequency transfer into the listening area, ensuring clearer and more precise sound reproduction. The phase plug and compression-molded silicone face guarantee a smooth and consistent frequency response.

The exclusive 1-inch titanium diaphragm tweeter minimizes distortion, delivering detailed and refined sound performance. This hallmark technology of the Reference Premiere Series is a key feature that has made Klipsch speakers renowned worldwide.

The vented tweeter housing is designed to reduce standing waves that generate unwanted harmonics, further enhancing clarity and detail in high-frequency reproduction.

A signature feature of the Reference Premiere speakers, the dual 8-inch Cerametallic woofers have been updated to ensure flawless sound reproduction, with minimal distortion and maximum efficiency. The redesigned woofers provide the power, detail, and emotion characteristic of Klipsch’s performance standards.

Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere port allows for the most efficient and rapid air transfer from the cabinet. This reduces port noise, resulting in punchier low frequencies and cleaner, more powerful bass.

Dual input terminals support bi-wiring or bi-amping configurations, separating high and low-frequency currents into distinct cables. This reduces distortion and ensures clearer midrange performance. Bi-amping allows further optimization of the speaker's performance by using dedicated external amplifiers for high and low-frequency drivers.

Upgrading to immersive Dolby Atmos sound is remarkably easy with the RP-500SA speakers. Hidden, intuitive connections on the back reduce cable visibility while keeping them securely in place for better wire management. Necessary jumper wires are included in the box.
