2.5-Way Floorstanding Bass Reflex Speaker

Designed and engineered at the renowned Acoustic Engineering Center of Excellence in Northridge, California, the Stage 280F is the flagship of the JBL Stage Series. This floorstanding speaker features a 2.5-way design with the patented Next Generation High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) waveguide geometry, 1-inch (25mm) anodized aluminum dome tweeter, and dual 8-inch (200mm) polycellulose ribbed cone woofers that deliver deep, signature JBL bass.

The 280F is equipped with polycellulose ribbed cone woofers. This pure pulp cone is enhanced with a proprietary mix of materials to improve its rigidity, and the ribs echo legendary JBL designs. These woofers produce deep, accurate, room-filling bass.

1-inch (25mm) Anodized Aluminum Tweeter with Next Generation HDI™ Waveguide
Through extensive research of previous waveguide designs, JBL has developed a new complex geometry that improves directivity, reduces diffraction, and provides a neutral frequency response both on and off axis. The Stage 2 HDI Horn is coupled with an anodized aluminum dome tweeter to enhance efficiency and dynamics.

Compatible with 240H Atmos Module
The 280F pairs perfectly with the 240H to add Dolby Atmos to your system, offering an enhanced listening experience. The dedicated 5-way Atmos binding posts conceal the wiring and create a seamless appearance.
