Pair of floorstanding loudspeakers
The B&W DM6 were the first speakers from the brand to adopt a Kevlar midrange and time alignment between the drivers, innovations that marked a turning point for the company. Produced between 1975 and 1979, they are remembered nostalgically for their revolutionary sound. Although initially not greeted with great enthusiasm, especially due to the use of Kevlar cones instead of traditional domes, over time these innovations proved to be successful. The Kevlar midrange, for example, was highly successful and inspired the famous FST midrange used in modern B&W speakers.
Today, the DM6 still holds some market value and is appreciated for the engaging and "contemporary" sound it continues to deliver.
