A direct evolution of the acclaimed Cremona floorstanding model, the Cremona Auditor retains its spirit and formal language, reinterpreted in an extremely compact bookshelf format—ideal for refined interiors and limited spaces.

Its cabinet, instantly recognizable for its lute-shaped design inherited from the Homage series, is not merely a tribute to Italian lutherie, but a highly effective technical solution for minimizing internal standing waves and increasing structural rigidity. Crafted from multilayered solid maple staves, the enclosure is finished with a semi-gloss eco-friendly lacquer that conveys a natural yet sophisticated appearance.

Technically, the Cremona Auditor is a two-way bass-reflex loudspeaker. The 29 mm high-resolution tweeter, equipped with a phase plug, is paired with a 150 mm midwoofer featuring a “sliced” paper cone—a unique layered cut treatment that improves high-frequency response and reduces material resonance. The magnet assembly employs the Symmetric Drive system, ensuring more linear voice coil movement, which enhances dynamics and accuracy.

The crossover follows a first-order acoustic filter design and has been optimized for extremely coherent phase response. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms, and sensitivity is rated at 88 dB (1W/1m), making it suitable even for quality mid-tier integrated amplifiers, though it performs at its best when matched with refined, fast electronics. Frequency response extends from 46 Hz to 40 kHz, but what truly stands out is the perceived bass depth—remarkable for a speaker of this size—and the expansive soundstage, delivering a wide, deep, and coherent image even off-axis.

While visually related to the Homage series—particularly the Guarneri—the Cremona Auditor distinguishes itself with easier placement and a more direct, immediate sonic character. It is less demanding in terms of toe-in and distance from walls, though a basic positioning effort can still yield optimal imaging and tonal balance.
