A new, larger Tractrix® 90° x 90° hybrid silicone composite horn allows for extremely efficient high-frequency wave transfer into the listening area, delivering a clearer, more defined sound. The phase plug and the compression-molded silicone surface ensure a uniform frequency response.

The 1" Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter minimizes distortion, enhancing performance with greater detail. LTS tweeters are a distinctive feature of the Reference Premiere series, making it a key component in some of the world’s best loudspeakers. The ventilated tweeter housing design reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, improving the detail and clarity in the reproduction of high frequencies.

The 5.25" Cerametallic™ woofers have been upgraded to ensure flawless sound reproduction with minimal distortion and maximum efficiency. The redesigned woofer provides the power, detail, and emotion expected from a Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker. The Tractrix port design, with its Tractrix geometry, enables faster and more efficient air transfer from the cabinet, reducing port noise for cleaner and more powerful low frequencies.

Separate bi-wiring/bi-amping input terminals separate the high and low-frequency currents into different cables, reducing distortion for a clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for further performance optimizations with separate amplifiers for the high and low-frequency drivers.

Upgrading to immersive Dolby Atmos sound with the RP-500SA speakers is incredibly easy thanks to the hidden connections at the rear of the speakers. These refined connections reduce cable visibility while keeping them in place for better wire management.
