At the heart of the Q3 Meta’s design is Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™), one of KEF’s most significant innovations. This groundbreaking system absorbs up to 99% of unwanted sound waves generated at the back of the tweeter, eliminating high-frequency distortions and enhancing sound clarity. Thanks to this technology, the Q3 Meta provides an incredibly natural and artifact-free listening experience.

Supporting the MAT™ system, the 12th-generation Uni-Q driver is a key component of the Q3 Meta. Its design integrates the tweeter at the center of the midrange cone, ensuring uniform sound dispersion throughout the room and delivering a wide, realistic soundstage. This configuration minimizes resonances and enhances the cohesion between different frequency ranges, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and detailed sound reproduction.

Despite its compact size, the Q3 Meta handles low frequencies with precision, thanks to its hybrid aluminum woofer. This component ensures rigidity and controlled cone movement, allowing for deep, dynamic, and well-defined bass even at high volumes. The 3D-optimized surround geometry further improves the woofer’s linearity, reducing distortion and ensuring powerful and controlled low-frequency reproduction.

The Q3 Meta features a two-way configuration, with the Uni-Q driver managing both high and mid frequencies while a dedicated woofer handles the lows. This approach optimizes the efficiency of the main driver, maintaining a perfect balance across the entire frequency spectrum. The crossover, meticulously developed through over 1,000 measurements for each model in the series, ensures seamless integration between all acoustic components, delivering a coherent and well-balanced sound.

Beyond its high-level acoustic performance, the KEF Q3 Meta stands out for its refined and compact design, crafted to blend seamlessly into any living space. Available in elegant Satin Black, Satin White, and Walnut finishes, this speaker integrates discreetly into any environment while maintaining a modern and sophisticated aesthetic.
