The heart of the Kef Q1 Meta is the Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™), which revolutionizes the handling of high frequencies. This system, designed to minimize high-frequency distortions, allows for incredibly clear and natural sound reproduction. MAT absorbs up to 99% of unwanted sound waves coming from the rear of the tweeter, thereby enhancing the overall sound quality.

Supporting the MAT technology, the 12th generation Uni-Q driver is one of the key features of the Q1 Meta. This integrated driver, with the tweeter positioned at the center of the midrange cone, allows for uniform sound dispersion throughout the room, creating a wide and natural soundstage.
