After the success of the Graham Audio LS3/5 and LS5/9, the LS6 model is introduced. Designed by Derek Hughes, it features a mid-sized cabinet and a 6-inch long-excursion driver, custom-designed and built to specifications, paired with a compact 17-liter enclosure. This combination provides bass extension and power handling comparable to the LS5/9. The 19mm dome tweeter, also custom-built, extends beyond 20 kHz. The overall timbre retains the "delicacy" found in both the LS3/5 and LS5/9.

The rear-mounted reflex port delivers deep, natural bass while minimizing the cabinet size, making it easy to integrate into typical home environments.

A sophisticated crossover network perfectly blends the two drivers and equalizes the overall response for optimal performance in the listening environment. A front-panel switch allows adjustment of the tweeter level at 0dB / +1dB / +2dB, which can be useful for off-axis listening positions.

As with all Graham Audio speakers, the cabinet uses the classic BBC “thinwall” construction, where panels are engineered to keep resonances away from the critical midrange frequencies. A layer of rock wool provides necessary damping. The hand-applied veneer finishes are of the highest quality. The grille is carefully designed to minimize diffraction effects and is held in place by magnets hidden behind the front panel.
