The Fostex G-series represents the flagship line of Fostex hi-fi speaker systems, featuring 4" HR-shaped pure magnesium Mid Range (G2000a) and 8" HR-shaped woofers, along with a pure magnesium diaphragm tweeter, to deliver high-fidelity audio reproduction and an engaging expression of music with no compromises.

The G1300MG model is a 2-way bookshelf system consisting of the world’s first 5.2" HR-shaped pure magnesium woofer and a 4/5" pure magnesium ridge dome tweeter unit for rich and realistic audio reproduction.

• 4/5" ridge-dome shaped 99.9% pure magnesium diaphragm tweeter unit ideally disperses amplitude vibrations, driven by a double-layered neodymium magnet plus one boost magnet.
• 5.2" HR-shaped 99.9% pure magnesium woofer unit offers high-speed lows without the typical metallic taste. The Up-Down Roll Tangential surrounds support accurate vertical piston motion.
• The glossy piano finished enclosure is made of 19mm Beech plywood for the front panel, two-layered 18mm particle board for the top, bottom, and sides, and 15mm MDF for the rear.
• Unique MID controller adjusts the mid and high frequencies from 1.6kHz to 10kHz with +1 to -2 dB adjustment according to the room environment.
• High-quality network circuitry with low-loss coils and capacitors, OFC internal wiring, and gold-plated machined copper terminals for bi-wiring.
