ATC SCM19

The ATC SCM19 are the reference bookshelf speakers of the "Entry Series," incorporating the technologies of the best models from the British brand into the entry-level lineup, which also includes the compact SCM7 and the mid-range SCM11.

All components are manufactured in-house by ATC, including drivers, crossovers, and cabinets. The SCM19 has a very low declared sensitivity (85 dB), making a powerful amplifier recommended, with a range between 75 W and 300 W.

With a wide and extremely linear frequency response ranging from 54 Hz to 22 kHz and an impedance of 8 Ohms (relatively easy to drive), the SCM19 delivers highly accurate and transparent sound reproduction, offering unparalleled detail in its price range. To complete the listening experience, the active subwoofer from the same C1S line, available in matching finishes, is recommended.

The cabinet, with a substantial 19-liter volume—reflected in the model's name—uses a sealed enclosure design with acoustic suspension. It is built with an extremely robust structure, weighing 17.8 kg per piece.

The slightly curved sidewalls are designed to reduce internal reflections, and the absence of a bass reflex port ensures excellent control of the bass driver throughout its operating range, thereby reducing nonlinear distortion. At the rear, there is a set of sturdy 4 mm binding posts with bi-wiring capability.
