Each component is handcrafted in ATC's workshops. The 25mm soft dome tweeter features an exclusive dual-suspension design made from polyester, which reduces unwanted oscillations and ensures optimal control, supported by a high-energy 2.1 Tesla motor.

The 150mm woofer, with a 75mm voice coil and a powerful short-coil motor, incorporates ATC's SL technology, which drastically reduces distortion, by up to 12-15 dB in the third harmonic, for even more faithful reproduction.

The second-order crossover with oversized inductors and high-voltage polypropylene capacitors ensures significant reliability and minimizes losses.

To get the best performance from the ATC SCM20, generous amplification is required. The use of the ATC SIA2-100 integrated amplifier or the dual-mono P1 power amplifier is recommended. Alternatively, Hegel's integrated amplifiers, such as the H190 or the more powerful H390, offer excellent sound transparency and dynamics. For those who prefer to stay within the UK, the Cyrus i9-XR integrated amplifier is an excellent choice for precise and detailed sound. The Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 offers great versatility in connectivity, along with advanced acoustic correction through the Room Perfect processor.
