Exceptionally regular and stable rotation

The motor construction is based on the single-rotor, coreless direct drive motor used in the SL-1200GR, to ensure high-precision rotation and precise timing when reading the record signals. The SL-100C’s universal headshell includes a perfectly adjusted Audio Technica VM95C cartridge system - for the ultimate in listening pleasure.

Prodotto dalla meccanica molto solida e curata. Il piatto gira con assoluta precisione e senza la minima oscillazione. La connessione all'amplificatore è silenziosissima: anche a tutto volume non è possibile sentire alcun ronzio generato da una qualche interferenza elettrica. La conchiglia portatestina però ha avuto bisogno di essere ritarata per il valore dell'azimut e la testina non si trovava alla giusta misura di sporgenza (52 mm dalla guarnizione dell'innesto della conchiglia alla punta dello stilo). Infine, data la qualità e il prezzo del giradischi, sarebbe stato probabilmente più opportuno avere una puntina maggiormente performante rispetto all’AT-VM95C (stilo conico) ma è anche vero che questa può essere facilmente (con un vero e proprio click) sostituita, ad es., con una puntina di qualità superiore. La testina in dotazione è infatti compatibile con tutti gli stili della serie AT-VMN95. Tutto sommato, mi sento comunque di dare 5 stelle al giradischi in sé perché, come detto prima, è un'ottima macchina. I controlli sui parametri della testina vanno ad ogni modo sempre fatti e gli eventuali aggiustamenti fanno parte di questo gioco.
