The Debut PRO B represents a groundbreaking innovation in the design of Pro-Ject turntables, standing out not only for its modern and elegant aesthetics but also for its high-level sound performance. The precision-engineered components, manufactured through CNC machining, are perfectly harmonized, contributing to the unmistakable minimalist and refined design. The nickel finish applied to all aluminum parts ensures a hard and resistant surface, guaranteeing quality and long-term durability while eliminating plastics that could degrade over time and affect sound quality.

One of the most significant innovations is the new Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge, which maintains the same lively and dynamic sound as its predecessor but is now compatible with True Balanced Connection, making it the first MM cartridge of its kind, designed to maximize sound signal quality. Balanced audio connections are a standard in professional environments, used in recording studios, live performances, and by musicians, as they eliminate noise and interference. The Debut PRO B is equipped with a balanced MM cartridge and a balanced mini XLR phono output, delivering a level of performance previously reserved for high-end audio systems. Typically, achieving a balanced signal requires upgrading a turntable with an MC cartridge, but with the Pick it PRO Balanced, this is no longer necessary. The cartridge is modified to fully utilize the balanced signal, and when paired with True Balanced Connection cables and dedicated phono preamps such as the Phono Box S3 B or DS3 B, users gain access to premium high-fidelity features.

The Debut PRO B features a newly designed tonearm, precision CNC-machined from a single block of aluminum with a nickel finish to enhance rigidity, ensuring smooth movement and precise groove tracking without compromising aesthetics or functionality over time. The electronically controlled synchronous motor guarantees accurate and stable playback speeds, easily selectable via a toggle switch, and includes a round belt for 78 RPM records.

The platter design introduces a groundbreaking feature for Pro-Ject turntables, incorporating a label recess that, when combined with the Record Puck PRO (available separately), applies even pressure to the vinyl for optimal playback. The die-cast aluminum platter undergoes extra precision balancing, ensuring perfectly smooth rotation and is anti-magnetic, allowing MC cartridges to function flawlessly. To reduce vibrations and unwanted resonances, the platter includes an internal TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) ring, minimizing wow and flutter, and can be further stabilized with the Record Puck PRO accessory.

The tonearm is a hybrid carbon-aluminum structure, combining carbon fiber rigidity with aluminum damping properties, making it ideal for high-end MC cartridge upgrades. The new tonearm base design allows for azimuth and vertical tracking angle (VTA) adjustments, enabling compatibility with various mat thicknesses and cartridges for the highest sound quality. The tonearm height is continuously adjustable by loosening two screws, offering unmatched flexibility.

The Debut PRO B is ready for True Balanced Connection, featuring the first balanced MM cartridge of its kind. Its ultra-rigid, optimally damped tonearm ensures perfect groove tracking, while the heavy aluminum platter and three height-adjustable damped feet provide absolute stability and a drastic reduction in acoustic feedback.
