The Miracord 80 aims to continue the legacy of ELAC turntables, which began back in 1948, and does so through a range of features that fully express its quality. The plinth, milled from solid wood, is enhanced by anodized aluminum panels that add stability and mass to the system. With an overall weight of 14 kg, the Miracord 80 turntable is designed to offer stable and precise performance.

The platter, weighing a solid 5.6 kg, is one of the distinguishing features of the Miracord 80. Characterized by a complex bearing design, it is driven by a belt-driven DC servo-controlled motor, which, thanks to optical control, ensures exceptional speed stability (+/- 0.33 % @ 3 kHz) and a Wow and Flutter rate lower than < 0.15%. The 10-inch tonearm, made of carbon fiber, is designed to minimize tracking errors due to its advanced geometry. Additionally, it can be equipped with an MM D96 cartridge, specially developed by Clearaudio for ELAC.
