The name "RIVO," meaning a stream or watercourse, reflects the product's primary function: the transportation of the digital signal. It streams music to the DAC, and nothing more. But it does this exceptionally well. If you have a DAC or an integrated amplifier/preamp with a built-in DAC that you enjoy, RIVO is optimized to transmit music in all high-resolution formats, capturing every authentic detail.

ENGINEERING MADE SIMPLE
RIVO's simplicity lies in its architecture, creating the cleanest possible digital signal path.
Filtering and isolation have been meticulously engineered using multiple 1:1 OFC grain-oriented copper transformers, ensuring galvanic isolation of the digital outputs (SPDIF and AES/EBU). This means the digital signal path reaches the DAC without any filtering or modification, delivering your music in its clearest and most natural form.

POWER SUPPLY THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Each section of the power supply is separated, with a dedicated supply for the internal clock featuring its own stabilizer. Before powering the circuits, a filtering section is employed, based on a chain of inductors and specially developed electrolytic capacitor cells. This results in high performance and stability across all integral parts of RIVO, creating a very quiet and reliable device.

A ROON-READY STREAMER
All Rivo devices will be Roon Ready certified by Roon Labs, allowing seamless integration with the Roon system and ensuring the use of Roon's streaming technology with Volumio Rivo without compromising high audio performance.
