MATRIX AUDIO TT-1

The Matrix Audio TT-1 is a mid-range network streamer that inherits the brand’s most essential technologies while leaving room for future upgrades.

It features a new design language introduced by Matrix Audio, while retaining the powerful Hi-Fi streaming hardware from the M Series. The result is a product that delivers high-level performance with a refined, modern aesthetic, complemented by an enhanced display that makes visual interaction even more enjoyable.

At the heart of the device is the MA Player Hi-Fi Streamer OS, seamlessly integrated with the MA Remote app, compatible with both iOS and Android devices. The user interface is intuitive and responsive on smartphones and tablets alike, making the TT-1 easy and pleasant to operate.

In terms of connectivity, the TT-1 offers a full range of digital outputs, including optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, IIS-LVDS, and an electrically isolated USB DAC interface designed to minimize interference and ensure a clean, high-fidelity signal. Additionally, SFP module support allows for expanded connectivity via optical fiber or Ethernet, greatly enhancing network stability—especially when paired with Matrix Audio’s audio-grade network switch, enabling even more reliable high-resolution playback.

Special attention has been given to power supply and electrical isolation. The TT-1 features a dedicated linear power supply with independent windings and ultra-low-noise voltage regulators, ensuring greater signal stability and a clean, detailed sound. It also offers a dedicated DC input for an external linear power supply: when both AC and DC are connected, the system automatically prioritizes the external supply while maintaining grounding—benefiting overall audio quality.

The TT-1 is designed with flexibility in mind when it comes to music management. It supports local content via NAS connections and can mount music libraries stored on cloud services such as Baidu Netdisk. A dedicated NVMe SSD slot on the underside of the unit allows internal storage expansion, with ultra-quiet independent power ensuring silent operation, superior to traditional computers.

Thanks to SMB protocol support, the TT-1 can be accessed by other computers on the same network, effectively functioning as a NAS. This allows other streamers or compatible devices to directly access and play music files stored on the TT-1.

Playback precision is ensured by a dual-frequency clock system with ultra-low phase noise femtosecond generators, dedicated to 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz sampling rates and their multiples. Powered by low-noise linear regulators and controlled via FPGA logic, these clocks deliver ultra-low jitter and high-fidelity digital audio output.
