The Pioneer CT-F900 is a 2-motor stereo cassette deck with a microprocessor and fully electronic 3-head transport.

The CT-F900’s digital electronic counter allows for memory playback and repeat, as well as memory stop, while the 20-segment Digitron tube display for monitoring recording and playback levels replaces traditional meters.

Other features include the Dolby NR switch, the chrome tape sensor with automatic bias and equalization switching, tape and source monitoring, continuously adjustable bias, and the repeat function, which allows for infinite playback from any point on the tape.

Exceptional frequency response and low distortion are achieved thanks to the combination of Sendust recording and playback heads (a compound of iron, aluminum, and silicone).
