Thanks to MQA support, it allows you to listen to audio files in Master Quality Authenticated quality, delivering sound as close as possible to the original studio recording without compromising the streaming efficiency. The heart of the digital-to-analog conversion consists of two AKM AK4497 chips, one for each channel, ensuring optimal separation and an extremely low level of distortion for pure and transparent sound.

Wireless connectivity is ensured by Bluetooth 5.0 with the Qualcomm CSR8675 chip, which supports high-quality codecs such as aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC, providing wireless playback with astonishing fidelity. Unlike other devices, the integrated DAC in the Bluetooth chip is not used; the conversion is handled by the two AK4497 chips to guarantee the best possible quality.

The USB input, based on a 16-core XMOS XU216 interface, supports PCM audio files up to 32bit/768kHz, native DSD up to DSD512, and MQA decoding, ensuring maximum fidelity in playback. Additionally, the SPDIF inputs utilize the AK4118 digital receiver, reducing jitter and supporting sampling rates up to 24bit/192kHz. The signal is further optimized through the use of an Altera MAX II CPLD and an Accusilicon femtosecond clock, which work together to maintain perfect synchronization and minimize distortion.

The versatility of the D70S MQA is also evident in its connectivity. It features AES/EBU, USB-B, Bluetooth 5.0, Optical, Coaxial, and I2S digital inputs, with support for high-resolution formats up to PCM 32bit/768kHz and native DSD512. The output can be customized to your needs, with options for balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA, or both simultaneously. The I2S input, with an HDMI connector, also offers adjustable settings to ensure compatibility with various interfaces, allowing you to adjust the IIS phase, DSDR signal, and DSD flag.
