The home-theater-direct mode, activated through the Aux 2 input, allows for easy integration of the A308 into a home theater system.

In terms of sound quality, the A308 is characterized by a smooth, effortless presentation, with excellent performance across all frequencies. The high frequencies are slightly rounded, contributing to distortion-free listening even at high volumes. The mids are detailed and transparent, while the lows are rich and well-defined, without being overbearing or overly emphasized. The soundstage is wide and deep, with precise instrument placement and a remarkable sense of realism. In particular, the low frequencies are solid but never intrusive, maintaining a natural quality often missing in more aggressive amplifiers.
