The new Marantz SA-10 is the latest model in a series of high-end players that began with the birth of the CD format. The CD-63 model, launched in 1983, was the first high-end CD player, and this experience has been continuously developed for over 30 years. The SA-10 is designed to set new standards and become the new reference in digital audio, both for disc music playback and streaming content from a computer.

To achieve this goal, the SA-10 was built with an entirely new design, leveraging all the experience gained from creating players with exceptional sound quality, while practically redesigning every part. This process involved innovation and exclusive design approaches to achieve the best possible performance with a wide range of digital audio formats. The new model is an outstanding player for both CD and SACD discs, but it can also play high-resolution music mastered on computer discs, in addition to being a high-end analog-to-digital converter for music stored on a computer.

Starting from the new disk reading mechanism, specifically designed for this player, to the way the conversion of digital audio data into analog signals has been completely reconsidered, the SA-10 project began from a 'blank slate' and is the result of careful research and development, as well as numerous listening tests in specifically constructed Marantz environments. This reflects the way Marantz has always carried out its projects: always offering the most elegant engineering solution, with listening tests providing the final judgment. All of this relates to the simple phrase that governs everything our company does: "Because Music Matters."
