Unlike traditional passive power conditioners or filters, the PowerPlant 3 fully regenerates the incoming AC power, eliminating distortion, voltage drops, line noise, waveform anomalies, and other imperfections that can compromise sound quality. Thanks to PS Audio’s proprietary technology, it converts incoming AC to DC (similar to battery power), and then rebuilds a brand-new, ultra-clean, stable, and powerful AC signal.

At the heart of the P3 is a low-impedance analog amplifier combined with a DSD sine wave generator based on an FPGA circuit. This combination delivers perfect power—free from distortion and interference—ensuring dramatically improved dynamics, tighter bass, and a wider, more detailed soundstage. All you need to do is plug in your devices—no complex setup required.

The P3 delivers 300 watts of continuous regenerated power, with peaks up to 1000 watts, making it ideal for CD players, streamers, DACs, preamplifiers, and high-efficiency Class D amplifiers (such as the PS Audio Stellar M700 monoblocks). It is not recommended for Class A or AB amplifiers operating at 220V.
