Furutech NCF Passive AC Power Filter

The Furutech NCF passive AC power filter uses the award-winning Furutech NCF proprietary technology. It is designed to be connected to a free Schuko socket in the home network (either wall-mounted or integrated into a power distributor), preferably on the same line powering the hi-fi system.

Main Features:

• Conductors and metal parts: Rhodium-plated, treated with the Alpha cryogenic and demagnetizing process.
• Passive air coils: "Alpha-OCC Air Coil" with enamel-coated OCC copper (Ohno Continuous Cast) winding, positioned near each pole.
• Body: Made of nylon and fiberglass with incorporated NCF material, ceramic microparticles, and carbon powder.
• Housing: Composed of 4 alternating layers of hybrid NCF and carbon fiber compound, with an inner part made of a nylon and NCF mix.
• Sealing: Body and internal housing sealed with tamper-proof stainless steel T10 screws and washers, with an optimal factory-pre-set torque level.
• Internal coating ring: Made of special high-damping nylon and NCF material.
• Internal air chamber: Pressurized to improve filter performance.
• Rear terminal plug: Designed with a specially shaped surface to eliminate residual resonances, made of special heat-resistant nylon and NCF material.
• NCF material: NCF (Nano Crystal² Formula) is a special crystalline material combined with ceramic nanoparticles and carbon powder. It has piezoelectric damping characteristics and two "active" properties: it generates negative ions to eliminate electrostatic charges and converts thermal energy into low-frequency far infrared radiation.
