The Funk Firm Achromat is a turntable mat designed to improve the audio performance of analog turntables. It is a high-quality accessory that replaces the standard mat, providing a better coupling between the vinyl record and the platter.
The Achromat is made from a special anti-resonant vinyl/acrylic material, which absorbs unwanted vibrations and reduces resonance, thus allowing for more precise and detailed sound reproduction. Mat for turntables. Available in two sizes: 3 mm and 5 mm.
3mm - Great performance. It's an easy swap with felt mats.
5mm and Lipped - Better performance for decks with VTA adjustments.
