The headphones also integrate the magnetic ear pad system from the second-generation LIRIC, making pad swapping easier than ever for a seamless user experience.

Included with the POET is a premium hand-braided copper cable, designed to provide the best possible sound quality with a 6.3 mm termination for maximum compatibility with desktop setups. The POET headphones are powered by the RINARO MZ6 Isodynamic® Hybrid Array driver, a new design resulting from the synthesis of the MZ4 and MZ3SE drivers found in the award-winning LIRIC and ELITE headphones. This innovative driver design delivers a compact, high-performance experience comparable to the ELITE series, and each MZ6 driver is meticulously hand-assembled and tested at RINARO’s facility in Ukraine for exceptional quality and precision.

The MZ6 driver features several key innovations:

• Reinforced polymer housing designed to withstand demanding loads.

• Parus diaphragm, a semi-crystalline polymer film with a remarkably low weight and expansive active area for superior sound reproduction.

• Hybrid Magnet Array utilizing neodymium magnets arranged symmetrically for uniform diaphragm activation, ensuring optimal performance across the frequency range.

This driver technology ensures ultra-low distortion, with total harmonic distortion (THD) measuring under 0.05% across the entire frequency range. Weighing only 73 g (2.5 oz.), the MZ6 driver enables comfortable, extended listening sessions in a compact form factor. Additionally, it supports ultra-high-resolution audio with an upper frequency limit of 96 kHz, offering a high-fidelity listening experience.

The Isodynamic Hybrid Array technology, scaled down for a more compact form, optimizes sound intensity distribution, particularly at frequencies above 10 kHz, resulting in enhanced spatial imaging and precise localization within the sound field. The driver also features a switchback coil designed for efficient reproduction of lower frequencies and a spiral coil positioned over the ear canal for excellent mid-to-high frequency clarity, minimizing time delays and enhancing sound precision.

Incorporating Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System (AMTS) technology, POET employs a precision-crafted metal component that strategically covers select openings in the driver frame, effectively reducing high-frequency peaks for a more comfortable and less fatiguing listening experience.
