The TH808 is a high-end headphone model derived from Fostex's flagship open-type model, the TH909. These headphones are meticulously tuned and feature an elegant solid black walnut housing and etched aluminum components, along with a proprietary “BIODYNA” diaphragm driver developed in-house.
Each unit is carefully assembled in Japan.

The driver, developed in-house and based on technologies refined over the years, combines bio-cellulose fibers with other carefully selected materials for the diaphragm.
This combination, crafted under optimal conditions, creates a diaphragm with low density, high Young's modulus, and superior internal loss.

Thanks to a repulsive magnetic circuit with neodymium magnets, the ultra-powerful 1.5 Tesla magnetic circuit ensures exceptional responsiveness and wide dynamics across all frequencies.
This design enables detailed resolution in mid-high frequencies while capturing rich, expansive low-mid tones.

The headphone housings, crafted from high-quality solid black walnut, boast a distinctive design. The open aperture, paired with dual-arranged etched aluminum components, offers varying impressions depending on light and viewing angles.
The carefully calibrated aperture ratio and precise fine-tuning of internal components, enhanced by the resonance of the solid black walnut wood, create a natural sound field that provides a comfortable and fatigue-free listening experience.

The headphones come with a high-purity OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) unbalanced cable designed to ensure optimal transmission performance.
The detachable connector on the headphone body and the cable’s removable terminal are both rhodium-plated.
Rhodium plating is known for its durability, wear resistance, and corrosion protection.

A balanced connection can be achieved using an XLR-terminal cable (ET-H3.0N7BL), available for separate purchase.

The detachable headphone terminals are rhodium-plated to enhance hardness, abrasion resistance, and corrosion resistance, ensuring greater overall reliability.
