The Ortofon 2M Black LVB 250 features a Nude Shibata diamond stylus mounted on a boron cantilever, a combination previously seen in the MC Cadenza Black cartridge.
The Nude Shibata's fine and polished profile ensures an exceptionally wide contact area with the record groove walls, delivering faithful and detailed reproduction across the entire audio spectrum, including higher frequencies.

The use of a boron cantilever, both highly rigid and lightweight, adds remarkable transparency, speed, and dynamic range to the sound.

Additionally, a new rubber suspension has been developed to optimize compliance and damping. This suspension employs a composite formula called Multi Wall Carbon Nano Tubes (MWCNT), which excels at filling nano-cavities created during the manufacturing process.

This innovative composite material exhibits extraordinary mechanical properties, ensuring superior damping and enhanced cartridge performance. Furthermore, the new MWCNT rubber mix is designed with environmental sustainability in mind, essential for the future. The MWCNT powder is integrated into a rubber polymer matrix rather than being used as a standalone powder, making the production process cleaner, non-polluting, and energy-efficient.

Performance and Compatibility
With an optimal weight of 7.2g and a compliance rating of 22μm/mN, this cartridge is compatible with the majority of modern tonearms.
