The new 2M Premounted Series offers a practical and elegant solution for those looking to simplify the entire process of mounting a cartridge onto the tonearm, or for those who want to swap cartridges without removing them from the headshell, particularly with S-shaped tonearms. The Ortofon SH-4 headshell provided with the cartridge boasts excellent quality, especially in terms of robustness and rigidity, despite its minimalistic and slim design. Additionally, the headshell features an arched finger lift that is easy to grasp and lift with your fingers.

Ortofon 2M 78 Cartridge
The 2M 78 cartridge is equipped with a spherical diamond stylus, making it ideal for the playback of 78 RPM shellac records. These unique records require a wider stylus profile, and the 2M 78 perfectly meets this requirement, ensuring optimal playback quality while preserving the authenticity of your cherished collection.

The 2M 78 features a strapped output, delivering the same signal from both pairs of poles. This eliminates the need for mono-specific equipment, allowing for true mono reproduction on any stereo playback system.
