The UNITY POWER ONE power cable from connected-fidelity™ is designed to offer a real upgrade over the standard power cords typically supplied with most audio and video equipment. Its primary goal is to ensure clean and stable power transmission, resulting in an open, dynamic, and natural sound, with a relaxed transparency and musical timing that enhances the listening experience.

Its internal construction is based on a “rope weave” configuration, where three 3.3 mm² conductors — each composed of 65 strands of high-purity tinned copper — are twisted together in a way that maintains consistent and uniform alignment between live, neutral, and earth lines. This specific geometry ensures a high continuous current capacity, allowing for a responsive reaction to instantaneous current demands, while also providing excellent flexibility that simplifies installation, even in tight spaces.

The absence of additional shielding is a deliberate design choice, avoiding the use of filters or isolation components that could negatively affect cable performance. The twisting of the conductors itself effectively suppresses RF noise and interference, keeping the signal clean without introducing unnecessary complexity.

All cables in the UNITY series undergo deep cryogenic treatment, a process that, although it doesn’t visibly alter the material structure, enhances the conductive properties of both the wires and the metal parts of the connectors. This technique, well-regarded in the high-end audio world, contributes to more stable and fluid power delivery, with noticeable benefits in overall sound quality.

To minimize external vibrations, the cable is protected by a double-sleeve design: a soft inner layer works in tandem with a tougher outer braided sleeve, providing effective mechanical isolation. This dual layer helps reduce micro-vibrations that could otherwise compromise signal transparency.
