The Vincent PHO-701 hybrid phono amplifier represents a significant improvement over its predecessor, the PHO-700, with the addition of convenient DIP switches that allow precise adjustments for the type of cartridge used. The construction accuracy of the PHO-701 is reflected in its internal details: six compact circuit boards, WIMA capacitors, diodes, and digital chips on the USB board, and Sounder capacitors of 4.7 μF at 100V on the 12AU7 board.
