The PERREAUX VP4 is a phono preamplifier designed to deliver flawless vinyl reproduction with an absolute black background. Successor to the award-winning VP3, the VP4 is a powerful, low-noise preamplifier that ensures high-gain, distortion-free signal from the turntable to the audio amplifier. It supports both Moving Magnet (MM) and Moving Coil (MC) cartridges, with the ability to easily switch between the two while retaining settings in memory. It is also compatible with mono playback.

One of the standout features of the VP4 is the BLACK mode, which ensures complete galvanic isolation and noise-free operation, thanks to its integrated lithium-ion battery that provides up to 30 hours of playback on a full charge. This eliminates the typical interference from amplifiers powered by the mains electricity.

The VP4 also includes an app for iOS and Android to easily configure and control the preamplifier and turntable, allowing precise adjustment of gain and load. Up to 10 custom cartridge profiles can be stored.
