Refined, detailed, and abundant power. Rotel’s new Class AB stereo power amplifier delivers 350 Watts per channel at 8 ohms with both channels driven. This is significant power, necessary for larger listening environments or less sensitive speakers to achieve the best possible performance and realistic audio dynamics.

The impressive capabilities of this amplifier begin with a solid foundation consisting of two massive custom-made toroidal transformers by Rotel. These transformers are part of a robust power supply that includes eight special British-made BHC capacitors, known for their low loss and fast response times. These components ensure that all voltage and current requirements are met, even under the most difficult load conditions.

However, raw power has never been the goal of Rotel’s design. Every aspect of the circuit design has been carefully considered, and each component was rigorously selected after extensive listening sessions. The circuit topology has been laid out in a true monoblock design, ensuring maximum signal separation and improved stereo imaging.

Features include: balanced XLR and RCA input connections, two pairs of 5-way speaker binding posts, 12-volt trigger control, thermal protection circuitry, overcurrent and over-voltage protection circuitry, dual-staged power-on relay to reduce surge current and extend longevity, and a detachable IEC power cord, all housed in a 5U chassis with included rack ears.

Listening reveals a precise and measured sound, with clear and well-defined midrange and treble. Despite the high power, the bass is controlled and never overbearing, offering a neutral and transparent sound that prioritizes fidelity over musicality. This makes it ideal for those who appreciate natural sound.
