The Pass Labs XA30.5 is the smallest amplifier in the Pass Labs range. Despite its compact size, it delivers 30W per channel of pure class-A power. The XA30.5 shares the elegant industrial design created by Desmond Harrington for the larger Pass amplifiers: a combination of strong, simple shapes and textures surrounding a bright blue power meter.

The Pass Labs XA30.5 is the latest in a long series of brilliant designs by Nelson Pass. Its innovative circuit combines the best attributes of single-ended and push-pull architectures while avoiding their respective weaknesses. It is a pure class-A amplifier with the power necessary to drive insensitive loudspeakers, avoiding the typical weaknesses associated with class-A operation.

Above all, the XA30.5 is an amplifier with exceptional sound. Listening to music through it has been an ongoing pleasure, album after album. It’s easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and excellently built.
