The Audion Silver Night Anniversary Push-Pull 300B is an intermediate-level amplifier crafted by Audion, utilizing the renowned 300B tubes. This amplifier is hand-built and hard-wired, featuring solid 5 *9's silver in parts of the audio path. Whenever possible, components are carefully sourced from Europe and the United States, avoiding low-quality Chinese components.

This triode-based mono-block amplifier operates without feedback (zero feedback) in its design. The chassis is made of black powder-coated aluminum, as is the transformer cover. The top plate and badge are finished in mirror-polished stainless steel.

Amplifier Matching
According to Audion, the PP model is bass-rich compared to the PSE, but slightly less refined. Its higher power output makes it more suitable for speakers with lower efficiency. However, it stands out for its remarkable musicality, though it is sensitive to well-matched and balanced tubes, making it ideal where more power is needed.
The amplifier is particularly suitable for use with speakers that have an efficiency of at least 86db. It pairs perfectly with the Electron cable range. The amplifiers deliver 24 watts into 8 ohms from a 300B, and also feature 4-ohm taps on the rear.

Quality Inside and Out
The amplifier features a volume control on the front panel and mono inputs on the rear, meaning a pre-amplifier is not necessary, though it may be recommended. These amplifiers are auto-biased and compatible with most 300B tubes. The Silver Night Anniversary PP 300B is a Class A power amplifier with 4 and 8-ohm outputs and mono inputs.
