The Simply Two was one of the most successful valve integrated amplifiers globally. Building on this success, Unison Research decided to redesign and produce a new valve integrated amplifier: the Simply Italy, which shares many electronic features with the renowned Simply Two, but boasts a more modern and distinctive aesthetic design.

True to Unison Research’s tradition, the Simply Italy is also an integrated amplifier, a choice that simplifies the entire music reproduction system while delivering better sound performance. Integration allows for an improvement in audio quality while simultaneously reducing production costs by using a single chassis and reducing the number of power and interconnection cables.

Designing an integrated amplifier is a complex and critical task, as it is essential that every component, every single stage (power supply, control, preamplification, and power stage) does not interfere with other parts. Unison Research's extensive experience in designing integrated amplifiers has led to the creation of models that have become iconic, such as the prestigious Absolute, still highly regarded for its performance and quality.
