The MA12000 hybrid integrated amplifier is a product of uncompromising audio engineering and expert craftsmanship. It delivers 350 watts per channel of clean, high-performance power, creating a breathtaking home audio experience.

The MA12000 features Hybrid Drive™ technology, which combines the best of tube and solid-state technology to provide superior sound performance. It offers the warm nuances of a tube preamplifier combined with the speed and raw power of a solid-state amplifier, cutting-edge digital audio capabilities, and a wide array of analog connections suitable for nearly any home music system.

The MA12000 is a hybrid design with the preamplifier section powered by four 12AX7A tubes (two per audio channel), while the 350-watt power amplifier section uses a solid-state design. Autoformer™ technology ensures that speakers always receive the full 350 watts of power, regardless of whether they have a 2, 4, or 8-ohm impedance.

The unit includes 10 analog inputs: 2 balanced, 6 unbalanced, 1 Moving Coil, and 1 Moving Magnet input for connecting a turntable. Both phono inputs offer adjustable loading to optimize the MA12000 for your specific turntable setup. All unbalanced analog connectors are made of gold-plated solid brass for superior signal handling and grounding. Additionally, the MA12000 features 1 balanced and 1 unbalanced output, allowing you to connect an additional amplifier in another area of your home.

For digital music, the MA12000 is equipped with our DA2 digital audio module, which includes 7 digital audio inputs: 2 coaxial, 2 optical, 1 USB, 1 MCT (for use with MCT series SACD/CD transports), and 1 HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) input. The DA2 is powered by a state-of-the-art Quad Balanced 8-channel, 32-bit DAC, offering improved dynamic range and reduced harmonic distortion.

The DA2 supports high-resolution digital audio playback, with the USB input supporting native playback up to DSD512 and DXD up to 384kHz, while the coaxial and optical inputs decode digital music up to 24-bit/192kHz.

The HDMI (ARC) input allows you to connect compatible TVs with HDMI (ARC) output to the MA12000 and your home stereo system, delivering an audio performance level far beyond TV speakers or soundbars. Popular Dolby® and DTS® multichannel audio formats are supported and converted for proper 2-channel audio playback. When CEC communication is enabled on both the MA12000 and the TV, the TV remote can control the power, volume, and mute functions of the MA12000.

The DA2 module is replaceable, allowing future upgrades to keep the MA12000 up to date with new digital audio formats and technologies as they are developed.

The top panel of the MA12000 features an updated design. The Autoformers and power transformer are now housed in a new glass-covered enclosure, topped with a glass nameplate surrounded by a decorative metal ring. Key performance specifications and a detailed block diagram are printed on five glass panels.
